• Located at 415 N. Tioga St. in downtown Ithaca, NY, Media Arts Collective + Resource Exchange (MACRE) — pronounced “maker” — is a community-led resource exchange and media lab designed to be a collaborative home for all forms of creative practice.

    While our roots are in film and storytelling, our space is an open incubator
    for any project, rehearsal, or gathering that aligns with our collective
    values of radical access and community care.

  • Each season—spring, summer, and fall—we invite an artist or team to join our Artist-in-Incubator program. Participants receive a dedicated 200 sq ft studio space and a stipend. This program serves as a creative incubator and a community-centered hub for experiential learning, collaborative making, and cross-disciplinary exchange.
